alligatorSports Podcast 3-28-11

On a "Werner-NBA" edition of the alligatorSports Podcast, Adam Berry, Greg Luca, Jesse Simonton and Anthony Chiang overcome a crushing technical error to bring you a little Florida basketball coverage following the end of the Gators' season -- a 74-71 overtime loss to Butler in the Elite Eight. The guys originally recorded 40 solid minutes of hard-hitting, highly debated basketball talk, but that file was mysteriously lost in the depths of Adam's MacBook, so they bounced back with a quick recap. The final two segments -- Intro to Sports Journalism and our weekly awards -- stood the test of time, however, and are here in their entirety. We apologize for the error.

On a "Veterinarians of Milwaukee" edition of the alligatorSports Podcast, Adam Berry and Greg Luca bring the mobile studio on the road as they record on the way back from Nashville, Tenn., and the Gators' final regular-season game, a conference title-clinching win over Vanderbilt. The guys break down the game, ponder the importance of Florida's first SEC championship since 2006-07 and take an early look at the SEC Tournament bracket. They also discuss the highs and lows of being the Alligator's basketball beat writer and hand out their weekly awards, covering both the UF-Vandy game and their misadventures in Nashville.
